Gotta hand it to the front desk guy

So, there's this young guy- (hell, I should call him a kid) that works the front desk at my gym.

Well, the squirrel went to the gym last night, put her gym clothes on- then realized she had no shoes to work out in!!! She's a pretty good improvisor if something not so important is missing- but this was too big!

I went up to the front desk to see if they had any female shoes in the lost and found. All they had were these blue and white- almost clown shoes- basketball shoes! The desk kid tells me to run over to Walmart. But, I know if I leave I won't come back. In a last stitch effort- he goes into the Kids Club, and after about 10 minutes of pleading with a girl to borrow her shoes- he comes out with them!!! And they were cute, too- pink & khaki Puma's!!

I'm sure there were about 20 people just laughing their asses off as this all went down.

LOL. Then I really wouldn't have come back. My gym is 2 minutes away from where I work. Our house is about 22 miles from work. I could've gone to one that was a little closer to my house, like 10 or 12 miles- but I know once I got home, I would've stayed there.

You know, that's a great question. My motivation has been lacking here lately. However- with gas prices where they are, and sonis still not having a job, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The good news is, I got my work out in

Thanks, AG. That's the point I was trying to make.

And for the record- women don't typically get Athlete's Foot. And secondly, I had my own socks on, so I think I'm ok. Not like I was walking around the locker room barefoot.
