  • God just bitch slapped me...

I have a 500 GB Hard drive that has a bunch of 'shared' media on it. Movies, music, recorded tv shows...and I was thinking I should replace it because its relatively old (about 2 yrs), but it gets a lot of use. I was waiting to get a 1TB so I was saving. All in vein. I have to start all over again as the HD just died moments ago. Years of work...crushed. A wonderful defeat for the RIAA.

So are you saying that god punished you for stealing or rewarded your faith by forcing you to get the hard drive you really wanted?

Punished me for stealing...but not literally. I just can't believe it happened...what a shitty week this has been.

lol, I really don't care I was just trying to be funny. But as far as you hd goes, I would hate it. I haven't got a new jump drive recently to back up all my pictures, so I would be very upset.

i am sure it is recoverable depending on how much trouble you want to go to to get the data back.

It sounds like a mechanical issue. The disk is not spinning correctly. I bet it will cost a lot to get fixed...not worth it...depressingly.

yea, i bet the actual data is fine, just the spinning mechanism is broke.

Yea, but I bet its expensive to get someone to remove the disks and place them in a new version of the same drive. You know what I mean?

I can check some torrent sites...but as of right now I don't know of any. I mainly deal in shared movies, tv, and music.

I've read that some of the authors who won't grant digital rights to their books have their books out there on the bit torrent sites. But I've never used them before. Let me know if you find like any Grisham books or anything :D

Your worse half has a better program called Bit Comet. You can search on the program itself. Don't just do a simply search because it won't yield as good results, Google searching can help though.
