I i got an itouch for the purpose of using it as super intuitive PDA. To accomplish this I, naturally, was going to have to hack it.
SO today began my Jailbreaking adventure.
I spent several hours researching different methods and zettled with a ziphone 1 click jailbreak program.
I run the program, and it kills my install file for the itouch... I cant even reset or restore this badboy. (Upon further investigation I discover that there is a known issue with ziphone and the 32g itouch, apparently it doesnt work).
So I return to costo with the apple brick in hand and return it. The manager comes over to sign for the exchange and tried to power on the touch and sees the installer error codes and says... you tried to jailbreak this didnt you....
I quickly retorted "no"
He knew I was lying.
After some coaxing I admitted to him I did, and we discussed different hacking techniques...etc.....etc....
I exchanged it for a new one and took my new toy home.
After unwrapping my toy and prepping it to hack.... I noticed my wifi isnt registering(one fo the requirements to hack).
Apparently the touch I exchanged didnt have a mac address assigned.....
Looks like Im exchanging yet another one... And I just might wait till March 6th for the SDK release and see how developer app friendly it is.
