My cat's sick

he's been vomiting all day so i took him to the vet. They have no idea what's wrong. They gave him some meds and fluid and told me to watch him. If he keeps vomiting i have to take him to the emergency vet.

Shit's fucking hard when this happens even if he is just a cat. He's been through everything with me and is my little buddy. I'm hoping it's just a virus.

I know when my fiance's cat had the shits they told us to give her plenty of water and no food for a few days. Don't know if vomiting is the same kinda thing. I sure hope everything is ok keep us updated.

He's actually doing better now. I think the antibiotic kicked in. He came off the cabinet he was laying on and had some water. Now he's laying here sleeping cause he's got to be exhausted from puking. I think he's gonna be just fine.

I actually just got back from taking him to the hospital. He started puking blood. I had to leave him there overnight for fluids and stuff. This is killing me and my wallet. Damn those emergency places are expensive.

I hope he gets better bro. Pets are like family. I love animals and I'd do anything for my pets.

He's doing better now. They kept him overnight and he stopped puking. He's at the vet now and they are gonna test his blood and take his IV out.

Well he has to stay at the vet again tonight. They were ready to let him go and then he puked. The xrays were negative and he didn't swallow anything. The vet said the only thing wrong with his blood was his white blood cell count was off. So they gave him another round of anitbiotics and still on fluids. I have to call in the morning and hopefully I can bring him home.

What's weird to me is when I picked him up this morning he hadn't puked all night and the vet said he hadn't puked all day. They were even force feeding him and he didn't puke. It was just random.

So I went to see him and he looked so sad and out of it. I feel so bad for him. I wish I knew what is causing this cause it's killing me to see him so sick.

Well after $900 and 2 overnight stays, he's doing really well. They believe it was pancreatitis. Right now he's sitting next to me sleeping. I'm happy he's home.

How do you give a cat plenty of water and food? Doesn't everyone that owns a cat just leave it out all the time or is there a way to have them drink and eat more?
