Guy I went to school with / NFL.com interview

Well when you hear someone say you went to college for a few years with someone in the NFL you might not think much of it. But my little ass college only has 800 students and this dude was a business major with me. I let this big ass dude cheat off my paper so times. He's cool as hell though. Not the meathead type. His name is Heath Benedit. He's an OT and projected to go in the 2nd round of the draft I believe. He's a real inspiration too as far as the weightroom. He came into college barely benching 225 and he's well into the 400's pushing 500 now if I'm not mistaken. Just saw this interview on NFL.com and it tripped me out to see someone I know in such a high place...

Well if he makes a team you better be calling for some money for all those times he used your answers. But its hard to make a NFL team I have two good friends that have been on and off practice squads the last few years. And one was the starting running back at Iowa a few years ago. But you never know...

I just heard about this earlier today from a buddy of mine. I havent been able to get online for the last few days. I knew Heath pretty well and he was a damn good guy. He was really liked by everyone and he will be missed by a lot of people. I am literally still shocked. Please pray for his family and friends because this really is a shame. He had a bright future ahead of him and he didn't do anything to deserve dying this young.

I am on spring break right now. It will probably hit my little school of Newberry pretty hard for a long time. I will keep you guys updated.
