  • Energy???

    Ok guys a quick question for you all, I work all day come home and spend time with my kids, when it comes time to workout i am tired as hell, can hardly lift.. I tried mixing up my day a bit but it doesn't seem to matter.. I need more energy or a boost but just can't find it.. Getting very frustrating and I dont want to be drinking a wack load of red bull or crap, it cant be good for you.. Not trying to complain im sure there are others who have more going on but I just need to know how they go about it. thanks

    I use this stuff called no-xplode made by BSN it jacks me up pretty good. it has creatine and other shit but I just use it for the energy

      I am pretty much the same way. I just arranged my schedule to go to bed early enough that I can get up around 4-5 am, depending on my day, to workout.

        when do you workout? at the end of the day? maybe you can try and changing the schedule around.

            Maybe try staying busy - I seem to operate the best when I burn the candle from both ends - as long as I don't sit still too long I can go and go provided I keep to a somewhat regular sleep pattern. Lately I've taken up sleeping a good 10 hours a night though and it's done me a world of good BUT those 14 hours I'm awake are PACKED with activities - from the moment my feet hit the floor to the second my head hits the pillow I'm going and going and going....

              you just need to find something that works for you. your current program dosent work so you need to find something that does.

                i found the stimulants don't do much for me as a whole. I do get a boast from them but nutriion a preworkout meal such as oats + bananas + whey shake does go a long way.

                changing the schedule like everyone else said.

                  don't do stimulant drinks late at night, you wont sleep then, just be methodical and realistic about your workouts, don't try do too many sets, keep it short and intense, maybe superset your excercises together with lighter weights
