My cousin owns a company that installs home theaters...I don't think I could ever spend anywhere near that kind of money for a 'home theater'. His basement is worth more than most of the rest of his house. I don't understand it. My shit works just fine and it was only like 2 grand.

some people cant understand spending more then 10k on a car or going faster then 65mph. they are audio and videophiles, i say, more power to them.

#3 the comment you quoted is clearly from someone that is jealous. fuck charity, the guy earned his money and he can spend it however he pleases.[/QUOTE]

is that realy 6million though? damm I wanna watch something over at his house
for sure, with all those hi end amps, speakers, subs, etc..
Hell Yeah, (1) very high end speaker can run 10k alone.
And I agree about the charity. If you earn the money and dumping it into video/audio equipment is your passion and what makes you happy....then why the hell not.
I guess if you have 6 million to throw away then why not, but when I see that, all I think is look at how many components could potentially break. I'm sure there is some sort of system check that tells you when a speaker breaks or at least I hope there is something to do that. Can you imagine having to try and listen for which one out of 100 isn't working?
