Sirius and XM to merge

The FCC has yet to make a decision. They'll probably drag it out as long as they can, but they'll approve it.

The stocks went up today once they announced.

A year ago they announced they were gonna merge. This announcement was that the justice department approved the merger.

i have XM & $15 a month is bs. they should drop the price a bit. i thought they're merging b/c they are both losing money?

Sirius is only $13. From what I have heard XM is the one that is in the worse shape so Sirius is going to buy them out. Supposedly when they merge the base price is going to be $13. You will be able to get other plans where you can choose what stations you want, like mix and match between Sirius and XM. I don't know how much those will cost. I also remember hearing they will offer a plan that will be like $7/month with just a certain number of stations you can choose.
