  • got my amazon kindle!!

    :staypuff:

I'm so happy... it's smaller than I expected, only about the size of a DVD. I downloaded a whole bunch of public domain ebooks from pride and prejudice to don quixote!

Now I just hafta sit down and read the classics!!

must save a ton of space and I would expect the price of the downloads should drop in time making it a cheaper option for frequent readers. My lady has an itouch for train journeys but this looks good also

Good for you, Sana...glad to see some people still believe in being well-read. I take it you will have to pick up a whole lotta slack if you and Bouncer are ever at a dinner party and someone breaks out Trivial Pursuit for a little couples vs. couples match after eating. :P

Get heavy on the reading and you will. But don't just read classic stories...throw some history in there too. I've found that some aspects of world history are far more interesting than fiction ever could be.

i think a book looks better to read. especially because the color of the pages on a book are white and the book is brighter when in dim light. the kindle is not back lit so you have to sit under a light just like a book.
