Heath Benedict: Dead at 24

Well as some of you already know from the earlier thread, a very promising football player, and more importantly a very good friend, died yesterday. Heath was basically a legend at Newberry College. All of us knew him. He was a great guy and he will really be missed. I have been in shock all day, texting my friends back and forth. We are all trying to figure out how this could have happened. They still haven't figured out his cause of death, but I know it wasn't anything Heath did wrong. I knew him for all 4 years I went to Newberry. Saw him in class, at parties, etc. That is one guy who would never put anything in his body that could hurt him. It's a sad day in South Carolina. Here's the story from our home website.
