Mariah Carey extremely sensative about her age.

Anyone in the NYC/NJ area here the Mariah Carey interview this morning on Z100?

I have never heard someone so insecure about their age in my life. They asked her about young up and coming stars and how they compare to her etc.. Her response was basically, "what are you saying, they are young and I am old and they are going to replace me?" lmao

They weren't being mean to her or anything. They were also talking about how the albums have changed over the years and how she is in a different place in her life now. Her response was so uncomfortable that I could hardly listen to it. It was obvious that she didn't like the thought of "being in a different place" because to her that means an older place. Its ashame really. They got off the phone with her and were like, "she is all surface, she is obviously very uncomfortable with herself."
