  • The Bodybuilding.com forums....

I go over there rarely when the SM forums are dead. Looked around a little bit tonight and damn there are some weird/dumb mofos over there! They give the weirdest advice. They are the most supplement happy people in the history of the planet! They put more pills, shakes and powders in their body than food!

The advice over there is crazy too. I saw like 3 different posts with a beginner that wanted to gain some mass to start off. Every fucking reply was some new age workout that someone wrote a fucking book about. Not one person said anything about bench, squats, deadlifts.... Nah it was the Joe Schmo Ultimate Googa Workout 4.5 or something.

Plus they are all about these damn rep points. Every post someone puts up they are like "I got rep points for a response!"

Damn I love SM. So much more down to Earth here...

Vintage BB.com is where its at. Now its driven solely by supplement reps and people trying to make a buck. The site is the largest distributor of supplements in the US so you know what the supplement forum is all about.

      i never visit that website

some of the amatuer teen pictures are inspiring, but i just laugh at them

basically its skinny guys that weigh 140lbs with massive amounts of tanning lotion on them.

every once in a while i will see a 18 or 19 year old that weighs 180lbs, and looks like a beast

There are so many forums that are so gear happy its untrue, and some give bad advice then all the cronies agree because the person giving it has been posting longer. Its more balanced here and people are more honest.

Yep because we all know that without a solid diet and good hard training you can't go too far. :)

No kidding. I have heard some of the worst advice there and when I try to object with it no one takes it seriously...

            A) Because they are stupid.
            B) Because the guy that gave the original advice has more "rep".
