I wish more people would test drive a Mac for some time, I promie it is a much more enjoyable OS.

I used Windows for 7 years before my switch, I was hesitant. I now wouldn't buy anything except Mac now.

Obviously something is wrong when your new revolutionary OS Is not keeping users satisfied.

basic user like me doesn't need a mac.

is mac better, i am sure it is. but its also more expensive and has tons of features i simply don't use.

xp sp3 works great for me and is probably more stable then any OS out.

vista is a whole different story.

Hence the reason Apples business will never expand. Their inability to see the big picture is disappointing. They do not sell their OS to other manufacturers so that it can be as available as Windows. As well, they use pricey components that are not guaranteed to be as good as cheaper alternatives. Hell, there aren't even a plethora of drivers to make it easy on system builders. Add to that the fact that OS X is nothing more than Unix with fancy graphics and you have their problem. I have a Mac laptop, and I love the OS. However, my laptop was not worth the money I spent and I have been disappointed.

The same goes for the iPhone. Mac has been so stingy with contracts that they have scared away many wireless carriers. The only reason that Apple is so popular is because of the iPod and our obsession with trends. What amazes me the most is that Mac users can't find the faults in their products. They act as though they are perfect and that is so far from the truth.

I personally never have used a Mac but I did look into it and the price and the color turned me off. I also didn't like the available features. That all said I have nothing bad to say about them but I am use to PCs and they network well and they are affordable. I have never seen an office set up with Mac systems, I am sure they exist but I have never seen one. I think the world does business on PCs
