I've never been a big Kidd fan, but I lost a little respect for him when he did that the other night. I guess we've all done things we shouldn't have when we've lost our cool.

I thought Dallas would be good and Nowitzki is a great player. Will Johnson be back next year or will Cuban send him packing?

Just in case it was confusing, I was saying Nash is my favorite player. As for Avery, I don't think that's the problem. I think Dallas is still missing a big piece, a legend. Dirk is very good but I have never thought he could lead a team to a championship. I think they were hoping bringing Kidd in would bring a balance and control to the team. Maybe next year or Dallas may have taken Kidd too late. Jordan, Bryant, Duncan, Wade... Those are all players that can put a team on their back and lead the team. Dirk is just a great individual player. I'm not sure if Dallas can win a championship with a team built around Dirk.

Maybe tool is a bit harsh, but the games I've seen he was irritating to watch. He stood at the top of the key, going back & forth, waiting on picks & seams to open up to drive.

If they're not running and gunning, they're not that good. That is why I was kind of surprised that they took Shaq. They have trouble in a 1/2 court game. They may get by against some teams but not in the playoffs.

Yeah, I misunderstood on Nash/Kidd. I think Kidd is too old now...too much wear/tear. Too bad you can't get Augustine or Rose in the draft. They look like they'll be good pros, especially Rose.
