Well, i was looking at my friends '03 SRT-4, it has 65K and tranny is bad on it...since i have a shop to go to, i can keep the car in there, i can get parts dirt cheap and i can have it in the garage as long as i want.

Tranny isn't that bad, its just it not smooth shifting and jerks a lot...clutch and flywheel are fine, just that damn tranny is a POS...

it has mods on it: Mopar BOV, spark plugs, short ram intake, headers, had a cat-less exhaust, but i got pulled over in it because of excessive noise (my friend was fed up with it and let me drive it for the day and than i get pulled over because the cop see's flames out of the tail pipe, thank God it was a warning)

anyway i talked to my dad, my mechanic, and the total cost to fix the tranny would be $2k, the new tranny would come out of a '05 SRT-4 with 6K miles that was found at a junk-yard.


well, since the car needed a new tranny, he would sell it to me for $13K, i talked it over with my parents, they said sure, but when we talked to the insurance company, they said $1400 every 6 months (FUCK THAT) so it didn't go through :(

SOOO damn true, kind of glad i didn't get it. I begged my parents literally to get me that srt-4 even though the insurance was too high, even though they accepted i changed my mind last minute.

lol, ya thats true. To be honest the srt-4 doesn't have much features and its not comfortable.

well its sold he's driving in a '04 M3...rich asians, you can't do anything about that.
