We have it hear all over New England in the truck stops but the price is the same, there is no difference in price. It smells a lot different in the exhaust

Isn't the whole point of biodiesel is for it to be better for the globe and cost less...?

Cost less...LOL...did you really think they'd sell it for less?

The reduced dependency on foreign oil is the only true benefit I see.

i am still convinced that we as a people are absolute idiots when it comes to solar energy. the power of the sun is huge, you can feel its heat, you can see its light, the energy it emits is enormous and yet we cant seem to harness even a percentage of all that.

I guess that's only if you make it. If it's really not any cheaper no one is going to care about trying to help the environment.

We could put more wind farms in a lot of places too.

i know. its just amazing to me that as powerful as the sun is, we hardly even use it.

I watched a show sometime ago and it talked about solar power being difficult to build and semi expensive to maintain with minimal profit. So it's very hard to get the industry jump started.

thats not the suns fault. its ours. the science is all wrong. i think they need to throw away all the current thoughts of solar energy and start from scratch. look at it with fresh new ideas.

                              I like Bouncers ideas.

I, luckily, sold my diesel truck so I havent bought bio in 6 months or so but last time i bought it it was slightly under $4. I can see the price rising slightly due to transport but it should be about competitive with regular diesel now.
