Dam I was looking at a set just like these but yeah I sweat a lot. Depending on the day. Seems like most anything with a charging port is designed to ware out. I just have terrible luck with port & I make sure to be a gentle as I can by not twisting or moving the connection up & down. lol

The Amazon ones I linked sound good, are sweat proof, and affordable. They don't sound as good as the beats (not as much bass) but are a quarter of the price. I've bought two pairs in case one of them stopped working but so far been using them for over a year and still great.Originally posted by piratex View PostDam I was looking at a set just like these but yeah I sweat a lot. I recommend picking up a pair.

Yea, let me know how they sound and feel. You might need to change the ear buds depending on what size you need. I think they come with 3 different sizes.Originally posted by piratex View PostI've talked to two different guys in the gym who also have those & they love em. This one guy who runs forever & he said they stay on just fine so I'm jumping on em. Thanks.
With the power beats, one side usually starts to come off when I get swraty. With these they stay on nice and snug.

The tech has evolved but it's not 100% interference free. On occasion you will get interference but as long as your device is in your pocket you should be fine.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostI still gotta get a pair of wireless. Never used them though so bit concerned with interference and battery use. Is the tech evolved enough now to where there is no issue?
Battery life is great with these headphones. I think they go 6 hours on a full charge which is more then enough time. I never had them die on me once.
Once you go wireless, you never want to go back to wired headphones again. I purchased 2 of them and always keep one set charged in case I forget to charge the set I last took to the gym.

I use these beats ear buds wireless no issues and I leave my phone 5-10 feet away from me sometimes when doing my sets at the gym with zero issues.

The beats are a rip off bro. Your pretty much paying for the name. I have 2 sets of power beats 2 , red and green. The red set I purchased at best buy and the green set was a gift.Originally posted by TrapsBrah View PostI use these beats ear buds wireless no issues and I leave my phone 5-10 feet away from me sometimes when doing my sets at the gym with zero issues.

Used them in the summer time to do cardio and they stopped working after a few weeks because the moisture would get inside and short everything out. Sent them back to Apple to get repaired because they were still under warranty.
Don't even wear them to the gym anymore because I'm afraid of them going out on me again so I use them when I take a trip or go on vacation. Don't want to risk messing up $120 heaphones. Other people have complained about the same thing so It's not only me.
The Bluetooth range is hit or miss. I've had much better success with the Taotronics then the Powerbeats. With the taotronics I sometimes forget my IPod Nano on the treadmill and walk away and the music only starts cutting out when I'm half way across the gym.
Just look at the Amazon reviews on the Power beats. Completely unacceptable for headphones that pricey to have so many issues. The only plus I give the power beats is sound quality. They do sound better. You will notice more bass and better highs but nothing that would make you want to spend that much money for them.
Sorry for ranting on but I was so disappointed with my purchase. Avoid the Power beats 2, don't throw your money away. I hear the new Power Beats 3 suffer from the same issues too, only that they are $150.

I've had luck with my Beats ... you do pay for the name but if you like bass for working out beats are the way to go. Other headphones lack that signature bass from my experience. Got mine on sale for 50% off on blackfriday.Originally posted by razo View PostI used those for years with my shuffle. They were the perfect length, no issues with sweat, and sounded good. Just got tired of untangling the cord every day.
