  • New phone

Went out and got a Blackberry Curve from Ebay. It was used but in mint condition. There's just a small scratch on the screen, but nothing too noticeable.

I had a Blackberry a while back when I had Nextel so i knew what to expect as far as the OS.

I really like it so far, nice and light and easy to use without having to use a damn stylus.

It's a pretty nice phone - much nicer than the original "business" type Blackberries.

Yes definitely. And less of a brick too.

        Nice..they are super light.

I started buying phones off Ebay and kept switching every 2 months trying out phones.

I was always curious about buying phones on ebay. I have verizon if it matters, but how do you know if the phone is stolen, and are there any other things to be concerned with?

Sucks with Verizon. You have to call customer service and give them the EF.. Something number to change phones. Just be smart on Ebay, research the seller.

Yeah I don't have a problem with switching the phones through them. I was just curious as to what kinds of potential problems i could run into, as far as stolen phones. If that should be a concern.

I have never had any problems...read feedback...pay with paypal only...you can dispute your broken/stolen phone and receive a refund.

I was seriously just switching every 2-3 months, couldn't find a phone I enjoyed...buy on ebay..don't like it..sell it on ebay and buy new one. Just a continuous cycle.

I have bought computers, video game systems, phones, and other small electronics on ebay and have never had any problems. If I am buying something more then $100 I do a lot of research on sellers and auctions.

Just like anything in life..do your homework.

I love using ebay to get things way cheaper than retail.

Like Turbo said just check the feedback on people. I sell all my old stuff on there as well and have never had issue with people.

BTW I have a Verizon Razor thats only like 3 months old if anyone wants to buy it. :D

Who is your carrier? I'm assuming Verizon since you said you have a Verizon Razor?

That's cool for you - I happen to have Verizon and LOVE their coverage but I have been having a TON of software issues with my blackberry (texts being deleted before I ever get them - calls not coming in - memory stores going to zero for no reason etc etc)....

I was having that problem when i switched. The reason I switched. Verizon is not set up well for data, hence why Apple always sells their phones through ATT. Verizon is more focused on things for teens.

I am going to respectfully disagree and say that T-Mobile is for the teens because of their God damn Sideshits, i mean sidekick....

Plus their calling and texting plans are more for teens because of the unlimited text messaging and the enourmous amounts of minutes they get a month.
