The price will temporarily go down as farmers slaughter enough of their animals to decrease the supply to a point where they can charge enough to be able to continue raising chicken and pigs. One hog farmer said that it cost him nearly twice as much to raise each hog than he could sell them for. This whole oil thing is starting to reach the point of disaster. I wonder how long before the bubble bursts.

Thats what i was afraid of. I noticed the price of eggs, chicken, and some other odds and ends have slighlty decreased by a few cents recently...Oh well though, time to start using the stimulus package money to buy my food

You should make a counteroffer to your parents claiming that they need to pay for everything for you to live on your own so you can reclaim your manhood - if they're as cool as you say they are maybe they will understand - at least get them to pay for rent and then you can start buying/cooking your own food without mommy's help????

(that and maybe you could score a cool girlfriend who would cook for you  )

I lived with my parents until I went to college, then the next 2 summers. I've been cooking for myself since I was 17 and started eating differently than my parents. If my parents were having pasta, and I wanted chicken, if I asked my mom to cook my chicken, she would just laugh and tell me to cook my own fucking chicken.

Seriously though dude, even if you are living at home, start cooking for yourself. It makes it so much easier when you move out on your own if you are already accustomed to it.

(Oh and I buy the big ass frozen bags of Chicken Breasts from Costco due for financial and convenience reasons. Is this really a huge deal compared to the fresh stuff?)

naw man, my parents can't afford to do that....

as far as cooking goes, i can cook. My parents taught me how to cook about a year ago. I do cook for myself every once in a while...

Now, i have had middle easterns girlfriends that have cooked for me. Either i would go to their house to eat, or she would come to my house and cook, and we would enjoy a meal together. The biggest issue was dating a Indian girl that was a vegeterian, she was ok with me eating beef, chicken, and fish, but whenever she cooked for the both of us, it was vegeterian food.

The white girls i dated didn't know how to cook. It was like mac & cheese or mashed potato's or fish nuggets.
