People fucking suck! Somebody busted out the passenger window in my girls car at the gym last night and stole her purse. She had her wallet w/money, id, credit cards, insurance, etc....the worst part is that my truck key and house key were also in there! So now they have our address and keys. I'm so pissed on multiple levels. Mainly because some people are pure fucking scum, but also because I have told her time and time again DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PURSE IN THE CAR!!! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccckkkk!!!!!!

Man that really blows. I had that happen years ago and my stereo, golf clubs and some other stuff was stolen. It's the worst feeling. To have your keys taken and they know where you live is even worse. Did you file a police report?

Yeah we filed a police report. They pretty much just smile and say sorry for your luck when it comes to small incidents like smash and grab burglary. Unfortunately the cops around here have a lot more serious issues to deal with.

yea, its a shitty situation. have to go get all new credit cards, drivers license, etc etc.. definitely a stressful time. just support her for now, calm her down. then later you can tell her how fucken dumb she was. :D

My sister got purse-snatched in Toronto yesterday. In her purse at the time: cell, wallet, a pair of expensive shoes, and four hundred bucks cash (she usually doesn't carry that much cash, but had sold some extra concert tickets she has and was bringing the money to work so she could deposit it at her bank during her lunch break). Total loss by her estimation...about a grand.

The thing is, I just KNEW something like this would happen eventually...she's just not 'street smart'...shoulda been clutching that purse tightly to her side.

Yeah, my lil sis is out 75 bucks for a new electronic entry fob, lord knows how much for a new key (she has a BMW, so I'm sure the key is gonna be like 200 bucks), and had to get her lock changed at her apartment....not sure what the fee for that will be, but I'm sure it's not free.

Then you figure in how much it costs to replace driver's license, health card, Social Insurance Number card, and any other govt issued cards you might have...because they charge a fee for all of em.

Mercedes wanted $600 parts and labor to fix the window. I took it to a auto glass specialist and it was only $242 out the door. Basically MB wanted $120 for the window and $480 for labor. It took the specialist 50 minutes to fix (you do the math)...dealerships are so crooked!
