Ok, my friend just called me up a few minutes ago and told me he is selling his 2002 VW GTI 20th edition for $16,000
Its a Yellow color with Black VW R32 Rims. 20% tints all around and black interior.
It is still under warrenty for another 2 years with the dealer
Mods include: Super Sequential Diverter Valve and Evolution Motorsport Cold Air Intake
He will include 4 winter tires along with it and the original diverter valve along with original headlights...
Right now it has aftermarket HID Headlights and a carbon fiber grill
it is a turboed 1.8L with 6spd tranny
Mileage is 56K
THE CONS:
Sensors are fucking up badly, his damn Brake light comes on and beeps every minute (makes me wanna shoot myself), windows act up (sometimes they don't open or close all the way), Moonroof is broken (for some reason it gets suck)...i was like WTF!!! anyway i am suprised the GTI interior is acting up at 56K (must be the cheap parts)
but ya i am considering it, but than again it won't be much faster than my current car...I found a guy selling a '05 Impreza WRX (36K miles) for $16,500, so i am considering that.
I also have to consider my insurance because its the THROUGH THE ROOF ($1900/yr)
what do you guys think i should do???
Oh ya, i forgot the mention that i do have shop to put my cars in to be fixed. I usually put my car in the shop for every small amount of work, so i can probably fix the GTI up within a day and start the heavy mods
