  • woodchucks

had a couple families of woodchucks move in under the porch next door --

my boxer has been killing them -- i saved a few a couple times but he eventually got to them -

i dont punish him because he is just being a dog -- problem ! hes been eating them -- what can i have him chew to get rid of the bad smell --

i bury the things now so he cant find them -- they are getting better at detecting him -- so less carnage as of late

Brush his teeth, but if he is older and has never experienced teeth care, then I doubt he will be willing to let you do that.

I am sure there are some foods that could cure the breath, sorry I don't know of any. A google search would most likely pull up some.

You know, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

ah, yea i know what a groundhog is. are they exactly the same as a woodchuck? i would think a "woodchuck" would be more like a beaver because they eat wood. lol

they are the same -- just called different name in different places -- i grew up knowing them as woodchucks -- have no idea why they call them that since they dont eat wood :dunno:

We called them whistle pigs in Pennsyl-tucky. If you whistle real loud when they are out they will stand straight up (thus giving you a perfect target). ;)

They got the name woodchuck from a similar sounding indian name...it has nothing to doing with wood.

yup -- use to shoot them for the farmers when i was younger -- they have traps now that fit right into the hole -- snaps the neck soon as he puts his head through it
