  • IPOD situation, tech people help...

After my computer got a virus or whatever, I had to delete my entire hard drive. Now I can charge my IPOD on my comp, but I'm afraid if I download ITunes again all of my songs will get deleted off of my IPOD when it does the Sync. I know that the IPOD syncs to whatever is on the computer. In this case it will be nothing. Any way to take the songs from the IPOD and transfer them onto the computer or do I have to download all the songs again?

You can go into iPod's settings and set it to NOT automatically sync with the new library. You can set it to sync only when you tell it to, or only add music you specifically want on it. I think it should ask you if you want it to sync with a different library than your own...

You need a program to grab stuff off an Ipod, I use one called ipoddisk, but I don't know if they have a Windows version. Give me a second.
