got the dell before christmas. it was a little under powered. had an athlon dual core and 2 gigs of ram. got a new HP with a core 2 duo 2.5ghz and 4 gigs of ram, high res glossy screen, 8600 GT video card, the whole nine yards. got it for like $800. you get those same specs in a Mac in its like $2500 or more. they are definitely over priced for there specs.
