I pulled into my driveway after the gym last night and there was a small raccoon growling, foaming at the mouth, walking in circles by the fence, falling over and occasionally running into the fence. The damn thing was evil sounding and looked delirious. It was dying...probably from rabies (my guess).

Anyhow, I had to smack it with a shovel and bury it. I felt bad, but I'm not going to let my dog, my neighbors dogs, or the kids come in contact with a potentially rabid animal.
