Even though it was the first board and I learned so much over there, it may be time to leave the roost.

If I may speculate of what is going on from the average member, me, Dad is out of town, a.k.a. the owner, there are some new kids on the block that moved in, most of the baby sitters, a.k.a. mods, are over here now and the place is being ripped to shreds and due to DCFS's rules not allowing spanking, the whip isn't getting cracked...and dad is still out of town and not calling home to tell em "wait till I get home".

For all the mods that left, thanks for being there and putting up with things as long as you could, I along with many others appreciate you and the control you keep. Thanks!

I read that post over on AR (I think or maybe BB). Scary to say the least.

Thread has been removed. Basically Geared was looking for a powder source. Was a pretty quirky read.

That was a few weeks ago and it was only up for a few days. I couldn't believe it stayed up for more than a few minutes. He broke one of his own "golden rules." Not to mention it was just plain stupid.
It is a shame, FG has gone downhill the way it has, but as many have said, the majority of the members are over here now. And frankly, this board is run much better. ;)

I like this board too,it's got the element of FG and this is where most of the good bros came but I still like FG because there are still some of my good bros over there like GG,Vandoo,etc and until those guys leave I'm staying over there.

Say what you want about GU though,I've known him since FG and despite of some stuff he did I still will back him up unless he goes scammer or does shit to ruin that board completly.Hell he even said he will help me start my own board up and pay for some of the costs.

In light of this I'm still over there until I have a reason for not being there.

Yeah there is still some really good people over there and that is the reason I still pop in from time to time.

I do not know him well enough to "say" anything about his character. However, some of the things he posts, his actions (or lack there of) w/the board, and things that I hear do make me skeptical...that's all.

I've been back and forth between here and FG, due to some personal problems I haven't been posting too much anywhere. FG changed somewhat, new members and all, and although they seem to be good bros, I just didn't feel "connected" over there anymore, like the whole atmosphere changed.

I know how personal problems can change the way you think and act, looking back on the last several weeks, I think to myself sometimes "DID I REALLY DO THAT?"

I am not passing any judgment on geared or the board in general, it was my first home in the internet world, I was accepted and made to feel welcome there, and I made a few friends that I hope will be with me for a while.

I may stop in from time to time over there for now.

I understand that and yes I agree that his actions lately have been questionable,especially the powder source thread which I myself have read too and found it quite odd that he would openly source post but until he does something that will hurt the board in the long run I still trust him.

You know something I feel the exact same way,when I left back in June do to a heart break and came back at the end of August it just didn't feel like the FG that I knew before I left,that the whole atmosphere that I knew was gone because of the new members,hell I don't post much over there like I used too but there are still some good bros that I like over there and until they leave or until GU does something to destroy that board I'm sticking around.

But I like this board very much,the atmosphere here is just like it was over at FG before I left so that is why I'm staying here for good.

Now if we can just get Rado to post more over here then we'll be all set :D
