    ....that if the "energy policy" is going to influence who you vote for, I wouldn't let it sway you to much, especially if the politician is talking about ANY sort of quick fix...any solution to our oil crisis will be 10-20 years in the future. nuke plants, more drilling alternative energys, electric cars....my own thought is that none of it will make any difference for a long time so unless a politician actually tells the truth, they should be saying "I have a 30 year energy plan"...not "I will lower your gas prices"...the only way that will happen is if we threaten foreign companies with force to increase their out put or just decrease prices, lol.

          they could just lower the tax levy on the fuel, that would lower prices
