Tour Italy at the Wheel of a Ferrari - Luxist

Your trip concierge will map out a week-long, thousand-kilometer itinerary to cover your choice of Italian destinations, drawing up a customized map and booking you into five-star hotels and first-class restaurants along the way. And, of course, you'll be the one behind the wheel.

The specs: You'll be escorted from the airport to your first destination outside Rome. After a quick briefing on your Ferrari of choice, climb in and you're off—speeding through the Tuscan hills as fast as your sleek red beauty can take you. When you pull up for the night, the crew will attend to your chariot while you wine, dine and take in the town.

And should you wish an unexpected detour—say, a few rounds of golf, a tour of the Amalfi Coast, a morning in Florence or a gondola cruise—your bilingual guide won't miss a beat. Italy is yours for the exploration.

Your only dilemma: Spider, Coupe or Scaglietti…

Italy is by far the best place I have ever visited. I would go back there at a moments notice, hell I could live there.

you also have to put down a $40,000 deposit that you will get back if the car is not damaged. you still have to have the 40k to give to them though.

                Rado, is that you???

                BAAAHH!!!

Honestly, B- you can see Italy just as well on guided tours as you would in one of those! When I went back in fall of 2006, an 11 day trip cost a FRACTION of what it would cost to rent one of those cars!
