I don't really follow it, but there was some anchors on ESPNN who were talking about the British Open and the talk about an * being on the winners name since he didn't play against the best player.

Hey golf fans, how's the PGA been doing since loosing Tiger?

There hasn't been a tournament from the U.S. Open to now that Tiger would have played in had he not been hurt. People fail to realize that Tiger plays no more than 20 tournaments a year. There are over 50 tournaments in the PGA Tour season. Say Derek Jeter only played 65 games a season out of the Yankees' 160+ games. It really wouldn't be a huge deal if he wasnt playing the second half of the season would it?
Anyway the season has been great, just like it would have been. Kenny Perry, a 40+ year old guy is dominating the fuck out of everyone. He's a great guy, real down to Earth too. Fun to watch.
The British will be the first tournament to experience the major hit in ratings now that Tiger is gone. I bet the American audience will be half of what it was in years past.
