  • I normally have nothing good to say about Verizon Wireless...

    However, today I must acknowledge how much they did for me. I have had about a 5 Palm Treo 700wx's replaced in a 2 month period. Verizon kept sending me refurbished ones and I was trying not to complain because I had the first one for about 2 years and they replaced it out of warranty. However, after going through 2 months of phones that shut off and never turned back on and speakers failing I got fed up today. I went into the store and explained that this phones speaker gave out. I could only use speaker phone now and even then it was intermittent because the speaker phone didn't work sometimes as well.

    Well the guy in the store short changed me and gave me another refurbished one. He told me i had to call customer service to get a new model. So, i call and the guy on the phone tells me I have to enter into a contract to get a new one. I said there was no way I was entering into another contract. I waited a year to get out of my first one. Finally after reviewing my account for about 5 minutes he allowed me to replace the refurbished one with any phone Verizon carried. I must say that right now I am very satisfied with Verizon and I think they did well by me.

    sounds to me like they screwed you at every corner and you just got lucky with a guy that didnt know how they worked things in that shit company.

      lucky....verizon sucks

      i have been with AT&T for 3 years and no major problems. Any problems we had, it taken care of in a professional matter and we all were happy

            I don't know how you say that. They replaced a 2 y/o phone with their standard replacement equipment. The fact that the equipment sucked isn't their fault.

            My service with Cingular is terrible. And iPhone support is zilch to nill.

                      Its not that big of a deal. For all intents and purposes I only got a new phone because I am not paying a cancellation fee before my contract is up when I will most likely drop Verizon and stick with my iPhone and work phone.

                        ha, well that phone was a mistake, stopped using it a month or so ago and am using and 3-4 year old blackberry with the scroll wheel on the side. LMAO.

                        the bold should be out in Aug. cant wait. i was going to take sana's iphone and she was going to get the 3G one. i just dont like it much. the keyboard sucks. cant hit any of the right buttons etc. plus a man with an iphone just screams, "yea i am kind of gay."
