  • Help with my website FAQ

Hey guys, due to an increase in questions on the CrossFit Alpha website, I have decided to create a faq.

These are the questions I have so far.

Please take a look at the site, and see if there is anything that pops out at you as a question I might need to add.

CrossFit is much more than what you saw in the video, that is but a sampling of the workouts that we do.

I do alot of similar workouts to the M and F video with my krav maga classes.

Can I get one of these with the purchase of my session? :D

Seriously though, one thing I am unsure about by just looking through the site, is if you can only use the gym with and instructor (group or individual session) or can you use it on your own?

I thought the daily workout piece was interesting. My feedback might not be related directly to your FAQ section, but was curious about the following...

Is that a bare bones minimalist workout for someone who can't make it to a location?...to encourage them to find a location? Also, is it designed for somebody to do day by day? It looks like some days have varying intensity...is this on purpose?

I guess I'm asking how a casual follower could pick up and run w/your daily workouts...maybe a section explaining it. Would you start w/day 1, etc?

            Nice site.

Yeah I have been fielding a lot of questions about my posted body weight workouts. That is why I will be including a piece on specifically them.

They vary with intensity on purpose, to create a forced adaptation to the body.

I am also working on videos demonstrating the various bodyweight movements that the workouts are comprised of.

The workouts are to assist int he development of current clients, give new people a glimpse into the CrossFit protocols. And serve as a fun way to track their performance via the comments section.

Thanks so much for the feedback, I will create an entire section devoted just to those workouts then.

You guys always rock for your feedback!

Nekrawulf, I don't want you to take this the wrong way, because I am the first to admit that every guy in the video I watched is probably in better shape than me. And that workout definately looks hard as shit. I don't doubt that all of the crossfit workouts are probably more challenging than any of mine. But to me, a lot of the bodies in there make it look like a swim meet. I know size isnt the key priority by any means, and that usable strength and agility is key. But is there any way to keep on a little more lean mass then a lot of the guys have when following this program??

(I'm not huge by any means, but if I were to someday give crossfit a try, I definately wouldn't want to lose any more lean mass than absolutely necessary to shed body fat)

                      Thanks bro.
