  • Newbi Chris?

Hey bro what do you think of the Audi R8? performance wise. Im gonna start to research them today after seeing one in person I like the look. but after 555rwhp Im spoiled with HP and TQ. with the lil research I already did I hear a V10 is up real soon????
The one I seen was all black with black rims.
I will go red/black or white/black, red time attack stripe.

Great car for great money if you ask me. However, I would never buy an Audi. Everyone one I have ever seen has had tons of issues. I also take personal issue with AWD 'super' cars as we have already discussed.

Ya but you must be a much better driver than I. I need all the help I can get, lol.
I dont know anyone that even owns a A4 are they realy that bad with issues?
also what issue do you hear/see the most?
I thought 997 but they are everywhere I also am a huge benz fan as you know so I thought CLK BS but they are so small its almost a chick car to me. If I could afford the SL BS it would be in my garage but that will never happen at 300K+

Wait, are you buying a car?

997? GT3 RS is everywhere? haha. Thats is an exaggeration, right?

If I had about 100k to work with I would buy a 993 GT3 or turbo in good condition and save the rest for maintenance. The 993 GT3 is my favorite Porsche.

            Boom!

The R8 is coming out with a V12 diesel that I believe is rated at around 500hp and 700-750 ft-lbs of torque. They had it at the NY Auto show in red and it was HOT!!!! It has a more aggressive bodykit than the V8 version.

I had a 2006 Audi from Dec '05 to Dec '07 and the only issue I had was one of the self-leveling Xenon headlights would flicker when I hit a bump, sent it for service and never had an issue after that. It was a very reliable and well built car. It was a 2.0 Turbo and I upgraded the ECU, intake, downpipe, exhaust, short shift kit, and suspension and the dealer never gave me any problems when it came time to service. In my opinion Audi has re-established itself in the past few years as a reputable car.
