  • So I need some feedback..

Ok, so for about the past year I've been having a cleaning serive clean our house. Well, about 2 months ago, I called the office and informed them I wanted to cancel. They had just been there the day before. She asks why, and I tell her that they basically suck. I had to re-mop 2 floors and re-dust our bedroom, among other things. So, she says, let her send out another crew to do a better job. I let her. The next cleaning is ok, but the one after that is bad too. So, I call again and say I want to cancel. She again tells me she will make sure it is done right this time. Well, the last time sucks yet again. So, I send an email telling them I no longer want their service. I also call within the 2 business days required to cancelm for my scheduled cleaning. So what do I get in the mail about a week after I lost my job??? A BILL FOR THE SERVICE!!! Citing that since I didn't give them 2 weeks WRITTEN notice (i guess it was about a week) that I have to pay regardless!!! Now, how is it that I called twice to cancel, let them come out another 3 times, and now they have the audacity to send me a bill?? They even say on the invouce "per written agreement". A) I don't recall getting a copy of such agreement and B) haven't I given them enough money, after I tried to cancel twice before? I just got another bill today???!!! Now, I am totally wrong to not pay it? I obviously don't want it to go to collections, but WTF do I do?

I did also leave a pretty irrate message on their machine when I got the first bill, and I did ask for a call back- yet no one ever returned my call. They just pussed out and sent me another bill instead

If you have to pay make them come clean and even if they do a good job complain and make them come back.
Basicaly just pay them, I know money is tight but just the drama alone is not worth it.

I know, but it's the principle of the whole thing that makes me not want to pay.

You need a job, you have to much time on your hands.

should have held firm on the previous attempts to cancel. letting them wiggle out of a canceled service by letting them come back out was a mistake and only prolonged the inevitable
