I don't know. I mean, we know I had two eggs that were ready, we just aren't sure if both were fertilized. I am already pretty tired, and have been a little quesy today. I go for my 1st unltrasound next Monday. Hopefully they can tell if there's 1 or 2!

I went in for additional blood work today so they could check my HCG level & progesterone. Last time I had to be on progesterone supps to help sustain the pregnancy...Today, the nurse said my levels look wonderful. The HCG is at 4500, and the progesterone is at 93.. Quite a long way from the 6.8 I was at in February.

It's really difficult given all of the nutrition & diet info that I know. It's just hard to make the association that it doesn't and won't really matter right now- I'm going to gain weight no matter what. but, I'm going to enjoy this time nonetheless!

First ultrasound was today. I am 6 weeks. Baby looks great, as does the yolk & gestational sac. Heartbeat is 115. I do have a rather large cyst on my left ovary, which the nurse and doctor both said is common. The cyst is somehow providing hormones to the sac until the placenta takes over. It should go away in the next few weeks, but I can't do any rigorous activity so as not to disturb it. I've felt a couple of twinges in that area when getting out of bed,or from a stationary position. Still trying to work out...Since taking on the new job, I'm trying to get into a routine finally. Diet has been okay...Not eating what I was, just because it doesn't appeal to me. Just eating like eggs & toast for breakfast, grapes & cheese for a mid morning snack, turkey sand & carrots for lunch, protein bar for afternoon snack, and healthy dinner. I can't believe how hungry I am - like every 2 hours. I've been a little quesy & defintely tired. I've found that once I eat, I feel better, though. I haven't told work yet...I guess I'll do that in another couple of weeks. Since I will probably be high risk, that will probably mean more trips to the OB

My fertilty doctor is having me take additional folic acid and 1 baby aspirin per day as a precaution since i had that blood clot before. For all of you medical people out there- there is something called NTSFR? I guess this is a condition that can cause blood clots? The first two factors (the main ones, I assume) I am not at risk for. ...Great news. But, since I had the blood clot before, that's why he's having me take aspirin & more folic acid. After what happened last time, I think God knows that I can't go through something like that again. I'm feeling pretty good.

I'm *thinking* you're talking about MTHFR? Basically when the body is deficient in MTHFR, its ability to absorb folate, such as folic acid, is inhibited. Good news for sure! :)
