  • Another jeans thread

I know we have had several of these before, but figure I would share. I went shopping today, and grabbed a pair of DKNY jeans to try on. My waist is a 32, but I have to buy jeans 34 for my legs to fit comfortably. I'm 5-9, 200lbs, 10%bf. SO I try these jeans on, and I cant get part of the jean over my calf. I'm confused. I look at the tag, it says slim fit jeans. So now I'm curious. I trie don a 36, still couldnt get thr bottom half over my leg. 38 the same. WIth a size 40, the jeans fit comfortably around my calves. And fell off the second I let go.

I know some of you out there have problems finding any jeans. I think I remember bouncer saying he doesnt wear them. I hate shopping

Finding good fit jeans are hard to find. The same deal with shorts as well. There are only a few brands and style's that I like.

I spent like an hour one day at the store just trying on jeans, it was extremely boring and you should only have to do it once. You just usually have to find a good brand. I would expect to pay more for decent jeans, my more expensive jeans have always lasted more seasons then the cheaper ones.

              What do your quads measure?

Slim fit will never work, try relaxed or boot fit.

Go to a mens store or Nordstrom/NM pick your poison. Just stand in the dressing room and have those people bring you tons of jeans. They should last 3-4 years and still look pretty new for good quality denim.

my legs are the strongest point of my body. If my memory is right, theywere 27 inches last time I measured. Which was back in january, just before i was able to squat again. so i'm guessing slightly bigger now

Do you have a store called "The Buckle" near you? I just bought some jeans there and they are the most comfortable jeans ever. They cost like $70 a pair though. So I wasted my whole clothing allowance for the year on one pair of jeans.

LOL the buckle, Nice store but they have all the crazy trendy expensive shit in there. I think you got off easy with only spending $70 bucks. I have seen stupid ass T-shirts in there that were $200+

27" quads on a 32" waiste is gonna be hard. You wont be able to get the "in style" shit cuzz most of it is taylored for the skinny fags.
You are gonna have to buy a 36" waist pant for it to work.

I thought I had it bad. The world needs a bodybuilding clothing company.

I float in them. I wear 34, and tighten my belt. Works for some jeans. But it all depends on the style.

I just buy 38's/40's and have them tailored...

Think of people MUCH bigger than this though - I can't imagine....
