Scientists are all about evidence. They say there is no god because there is no evidence.
Yet they can't come up with any empirical UNDISPUTED evidence that black holes won't be created. As long as some people have theories that it MIGHT happen, they shouldn't do it without seeing how the world feels about it.

you are just being southern now. i knew you would bring religion into it at some point. you southern assholes always go in that direction when science comes up. :)Originally posted by The_Grinder View PostScientists are all about evidence. They say there is no god because there is no evidence.

I never said anything about my personal beliefs. Its just that these scientists reject something when there is a lack of 100% evidence. But yet they don't think they need evidence against the possibility of black holes to perform these experiments.

ol Hawkins says they arn't sure what wil happen and if they did it wouldn't be worth doing, the otherscientists say bigger reactions happen in the solar system all the time, this is just a small one in a controlled argument. They seem to think they have it figured so hopefully al will be ok inside a mountain

I'm actually really excited about this. I had a roomate in the Army that was reaLly into quantum mechanics and quantum physics. He always talked about this and at the time I had no idea what the hell he was talking about. The unkown of it all is exciting and a little scary, but I'm anxious to see what we learn from it all. Maybe some 'strangelets' will be created and they will transform all the matter they come in contact with, lol.
