EVERYTHING in life involves hypocrisy on some level Shibster - everything and everyone. If you can look past that then you'll start to find what's real beneath it all but not until then. And no - I'm not promoting religion on any level - just staying that hypocrisy can't be the *reason* you laugh at others unless you're willing to laugh at yourself first and even then it is questionable at best....

But that's true of everyone. I guarantee I could spend an hour with you and show you your own hypocrisy too. Not even an hour. And you could do the same with me. My ability or your ability to live what we believe without any contradiction whatsoever has nothing to do with the validity of what we believe. Because if you're looking for a reason to bash people who follow Christianity, you're going to find it. And you seem to look for any reason to do just that. Everyone does things that goes against what they claim to believe...everyone. The only thing that proves is that people are flawed, every single one.

And besides, what makes you think that you can spot everything that is wrong anyway? That's like saying that you're the only one who can see it all and that people need you to show them where they've all gone wrong. Come on dude. If I said something like that, you'd be among the first people to say that I'm arrogant. Deal with the hypocrisy in your own life before you attempt to highlight the hypocrisy in someone else. Because when you do that, you only make yourself look like a fool. If that guy is an idiot because you can find hypocrisy in his life, than you're an idiot too. We all are. Imperfect people can still find grace and forgiveness. Humans suck at that, but God doesn't. Just don't disregard it because the people are imperfect.

Unlike religious people I don't try to justify them by finding another part of a book that says it's alright. Because you are christian you do feel you have some sort of higher status in life than I do. That's any religion though. What else can get away with saying that?
