  • Anyone use Exxon/Mobil?

I know a lot of people that will refuse to use Exxon/Mobil after that CEO retired with so much money and the whole fiasco. I was just wondering if they actually might be taking a hit because of the PR problem or if most don't worry where they buy their gas...

There isn't a mobile or exxon nearby by me so I do't use them to begin with. I am near a shell and costco so use them.

i do and it wouldn't matter anyway....nobody cares really that they got lots of money....it was covered in the news and we don't know the whole story...sorry I am very annoyed lately at how everyone gets up and arms just when they start to lose theirs or they see someone else have more money than them (not you shib, just in general).

It's not usually about someone else making money. A lot of it has to do with a person making tons at the cost of someone with less. But mostly I am curious if the consumer as a whole can actually have the power to force change.

I try to use Hess because it is domestic fuel plus they are 1 of my customers. I just started receiving the new Hess trucks for the Christmas distribution

There is a Hess and SHell near my house and they are usually cheaper than Exxon.

I agree that that whole situation is/was crummy, but as a consumer - I have to say I go where it's cheapest (which is never them anyway).
