Did anyone catch his show on A & E last night? It was on at 1000. Abouth is battle to break his steroid addiction after 24 years.

I caught the last half of it...It's actually pretty sad. After that phenomenal career, he really has nothing. He actually went & played in a AA league, and didn't even fulfill the rest of his contract....the league is suing him! Even showed him attending a AAA game, and how happy he was to not get ridiculed by spectators. So, much of his anguish seems to be brought on himself.

He did say the biggest mistake he made was writing that book, and ratting out his teammates.

They also showed him under the care of a doctor to help bring his natural test levels back up. Normal for a guy is 250-800, his was at 146; and that was WITH hormone therapy. He made it sound like he may have to be on some sort of therapy for the rest of his life....seeing as how he's been using the gas since he was 18...that's 24 years he's been on! Based on that info, he may have gone to Mexico to help get his body back on track. But, then that begs the question that if he was under the care of a physician, why wouldn't he give it to him?

not sure about that. hormone therapy is just that, hormones. lol. the amount given to him would raise his test levels higher then 146. i think the guy just makes shit up myself.

yea, i think his line of therapy should be at least a shot every 3 weeks like the norm for HRT.

Actually the normal level guidelines were coming from his doctor...right after he read Jose his levels. And, apparently, his doctor had him on hormone therapy for the past 30 days. His level started at 100, and his doctor was disappointed it hadn't read higher
