I am gonna be in the Trenton, New Jersey area visiting some family for a few days in December. We are flying in to Philadelphia. I will also be going into NYC for a day. Was wondering about some good places to eat. Not fancy restaurants or anything, just good food. I am definitely going to Permenti Brothers (sp) when we get off the plane in Philly, but was curious about NJ, and NY. I wanted to get some of this famous NY pizza, figured Bouncer and some of you other guys might have some good suggestions. Thanks

Permanti brothers is in Pittsburgh. not Philly.
in philly go to pats or geno's steaks. (both are at 9th Street, Wharton and Passyunk Ave in south Philly.) i like geno's better.
in NYC, my favorite pizza is lombardis. oldest pizzeria in America. (32 Spring St)Last edited by Bouncer; 11-10-08, 02:53 PM.

come on dude, when in philly you get a cheesesteak, not a sandwhich with coleslaw. lolOriginally posted by jwoody View Postthanks B, damn i wanted that Permenti Brothers lol. Do you know if Geno's has anything like that Permenit Brothers sandwich where they put all that stuff on the sandwich, like fries and coleslaw. Lombardis is the place I was thinking of.
