    Truth is often in the eye of the beholder. Some would argue this Presidents military action in the 'Middle East' is an important step in bringing oppression to an end in the world. Others, like myself, disagree. I certainly do not have respect for the men leading this crusade against 'injustice', but to say our soldier are dying for nothing is not true. There are many that join the military because they see a need for what Bush is doing. There are many that join because they see fellow Americans in need over in Iraq and Afghanistan. Then there are people that believe that Americans must do everything in their power to police injustice throughout the world. For the most part that is what these soldiers view of this country is because this country gave them those beliefs, so to say they died in vein is disrespectful to them. If any one of those men/women died, he/she died for what he/she believed in.

    I made this thread to remember all the soldiers that have died in all the wars fought for this country and by this country, regardless of how I feel about the wars, the military, or our current President.

      well my friend, once again i am going to have to step back and admit that i have to agree with everything you just said.

        Thanks Chris! I do the same thing every year, me and a couple of my buddies who are Marines go to The Marine Corps League. I will tell you something its a great feeling talking to the old timers. The love you feel from these guys, is crazy. Its a great feeling being surrounded by so many people who would give you the shirt off their back.
