This is a lot of what I have struggled with myself for the last twenty years, haven't been able to put it so succinctly or so eloquently.

It does give me pause to think after hearing from certian people that I better know my place and not try to rise above, maybe I can ask "Who am I NOT to shine?"

sana, I've been growing up for twenty years and I'm still not all there yet. It is fun though, the best part is learning, learning and more learning. That's growing.

I just like to be left alone for the most part, I get on with what I have to and help when it's needed, I'd say in general I'm more a leader then a follower simply because I don't follow.. I don't do a big amount of leading either.. just get on with my life.

I set a good example in my life, not because I want to be a leader but because it is the right thing to do. I do not follow people. I don't like group work or team work. I like accomplishing things on my own, with no one holding me back. that is why school is such bitch, they always want those fucking team projects and group work. screw that I am there to learn my chosen profession. how I deal with the public is up to me and thet can be my final judge.
