Maybe you should stop reading my posts then, because they are far from pompous and patronizing. Maybe you read them that way because you have conditioned yourself to feel that way about me? Not to mention, when ever you respond to a post of mine, it is condescending. The same foes for Fitnessbrat. I just think its ironic that you two talk about sensitivity, when you clearly don't give some people that same respect.

You don't know me, so you don't expect you to understand when I say i have been disappointed in myself. Or for that matter how I feel about this situation. Being a moderator at a forum, I become disgusted with these type of circumstances. Its actually the reason I am a moderator now. I have long been a vocal advocate of anonymous internet posting being a problem. People on our forum used to rip people apart for no reason. Its terrible. There was little attention paid to these type of circumstances and I really pushed the moderators, because they were all ignoring it as a problem.

Finally, society has to do with this in every way. From expectations that our society expects, to the way some people treat others. It is not the soul responsibility of society, it is also the responsibility of the individuals in society, that make up society. You can disagree with me all you want, that's fine. Just stop jumping down my throat because you think you know so much more about life than i do. Its getting old.

Uhhh, that's what I said. I said it's the societal PRESSURES that contributed to this. You were the one who initially said society needs to progress past this. That doesn't really correlate with what you said above.

The mods here treat everyone with respect. But, if someone raises a point or says something we don't agree with, we have no problem speaking our mind, and not beat around the bush about how people may be coming off to others.

My issue with this post is that you pretend to know the pain this guy was in, when you have no clue. None of us do. That doesn't give you the right to pass any sort of judgment on him. HE is the one dealing with those consequences. I'm sorry you feel my posts are condescending, but you are young, and somewhat naive, IMHO. You make a lot of statements that don't hold a lot of credit. Lastly, this is a DISCUSSION forum, not a day care. I'm going to say what I think, and so will you.
