So I just lost my job in the city (company merged and cut jobs), and while I'm waiting on recruitment consultants in what is a very quiet market my buddy has hooked me up with a security job, minding the plant machinery when work stops.
Now the hourly rate is crap but boy are there lots of hours, like 120 per week. So with the pay off from work and given that they have also paid me up to end December and this other work this takes care of things for now.
Of course I want a job like the one I had but I sure as hell aint sitting around waiting for the phone to go with the perfect job, I need to be working and earning money.
The problem is I'm knackered, each weeknight I work from 4:30pm through 7:30 am and then from 4pm saturday through 7:30 am monday.
There's not enough room in the dingy cabin to sleep and I can't sleep properly in my car between walk routes.
At least the cabin has power so I can take my tv/dvd unit and a microwave to heat the food, although the other night the generator ran dry and I was sat there in the dark lol.
Anyone have any experience of this shit?
