I know its been a tough year for some here. Can't turn on the news or the radio without hearing about how shitty the world is. lol. The important thing though is to not let the negative consume you. Focus more on the positive things in your life and focus on things that you can control.

Just wanted to say happy holidays to everyone here. Enjoy the holidays and enjoy your family, put a smile on your face even if you are down!

yup, and no matter how bad we think we have it. we are actually pretty lucky. just think of the kids all over the world that dont have enough to eat, no warm bed to sleep, not fresh water to drink, no shower or bath...

No kidding. I chat a lot with some women on another board and some of them talk about their children they've lost, or ones that are dying of cancer, or other things that are just awful. Makes me want to hug my little ones extra tight.

I don't get overly excited about the holidays because I've been away from my immediate family for so many years, but I am certainly thankful for the things that I have. Due to my job I see a lot of things involving families that wold tear your heart out. If times are tough for most of us right now it's exponentially more difficult for a lot of other families out there.
