All i worry about are DC and Baltimore. Baltimore not so much anymore because I go clubbing there, and its not bad at all.

many parts of jersey are nice. south jersey has a lot of country and woodlands etc..

north jersey has many rich nice towns. see.. Short Hills NJ.

Ya i am sure there are nice places. I haven't up that North since I was a kid. I really want to drive up to NY and chill for a day.

New Orleans is by far the worst since Katrina. Just watched a special on it. They have what's called the "30 day murder" where if a criminal is not indicted w/in 30 days he can no longer be charged thus through intimidation the gang members would scare any witness' into silence and they would continue to kill in record numbers. Right after Katrina they averaged over 300 murders in 90 days!
