papers are files by the landlord (you) in court
the eviction is either granted in court or denied
a notice is sent to the tenent
then the sheriff serves them papers (whenever they get to it-takes a while) and then the tenent have to get out immediately.
if they havent packed there shit stays behind.

Yeah, pretty much the same here. Once the eviction is complete, I have a right to throw all their crap out. Unfortunately, there wouldn't be anything I'd want and it would be more of a hassle for me, lol.
