hey bro -- said you shoot archery -- what bow do you use - i currently shoot the bowtech ally -

am looking to get a new bow in the spring - looking at the hoyt alphamax - bowtech captain looks cool aswell - have a few on my list to check out -

anyone else archery hunt ?

yeah im tryin to get back into it, havnt hunted period in a few years. its an old matthews solocam lx i believe. i need to get something new myself just don't have the extra $800 layin around. my roomate shoots the dxt and loves it but on the other hand another friend wont shoot anything but bowtech.

my problem with all of the new stuff is draw length. mine is 31" 32". alot of them arent long enough for me.

ya - you def have a long draw length which lowers your choices -- - will have to look around and see whats out there -

the price of bows have sky rocketed -- will cost me about a grand - thats bare bow

thats just crazy. friend of mine down here owns a bow shop and thats about what he told me for everything, rest, sights, and a dozen arrows. but i am definately in no position to spend that kind of cash on somethn like that right now.

What happened to the good old days? a piece of tree branch and a couple feet of fishing line was all you needed. :D
