I don't hate America, I hate stupid Americans and their blind belief that a law is a law is a law without question. People like that take away everything that people like Ben Franklin worked so hard to achieve.

That being said, I will comment on something political that comes up, but limit it to one response even though even loves to respond with their two cents.

but i also agree with rado believe it or not, when he says you arent going to change anything by simply complaining about it all day. all you are going to do by complaining is make people stop listening to you. being negative all the time will get you nowhere.

I agree with both of you, I think the only way NebChris goes wrong is the way he writes causes people to hear a certain tone in the message and they think it is complaining. I think it is an important part of making a difference to talk to people about issues that concern you and to try to persuade without badgering or whining.
I have learned through multiple debates with NebChris that he mostly just sounds like he is whining or insulting but, he really is not it is just his writing style. I usually read what he writes a couple of times with an open mind and find he is not so bad after all.

Wow, that wasn't arrogant and demeaning. I don't generally turn non-political threads political, but I'm not going to let a nonsense comment about laws stand on its own. You can feel as you want about my comments, but they are all generally true. Americans don't look in the mirror and ask themselves, "What have I done wrong?" I simply try to point that out, it doesn't mean that I 'know', 'think', 'believe', I am perfect, etc.

I just happen to have strong beliefs about the failings of this country and I express them in a non-emotional way. Whether they be negative or positive, to be quite honest.

Also, you need to shut the fuck up about 'doing something' about it. Again, while you are at home making money and bitching about paying taxes, I was working at non-profits or lobbying state legislators for responsible spending and education spending for my university. The little you know about me, which really is that...little...you sure seem to know everything about me and my activities. Although this is common territory for web forums I thank you to think about typing it before you type it again. For hopes that, this time, it might sink in.
