Hahaha you are funny. Actually it's the oppsite you'd probably hate training with me. I would brake your ass and rebuild it again just like military. :D
how do you think I can keep my clients for 9, 10 years? I've been doing this for the last 16 years, I am not some guy who just got some fancy training certificate training people between his acting auditions. I wish that was a way to train your ass for an hour or two so you can see what I mean :D:evil:

Sign me up man. I have been through some good training. Wrestling built my conditioning.

I have vomited a few times, doesn't bother me.

      Where do i sign? :D

I'm not entirely sure if you have a negative opinion of traines, me or both in terms of what you said, but my trainer isn't just some globo gym nitwit. I don't mean to sound abrasive with that comment, but I wouldn't pay for the trainning if it was going nowhere. I see what you are saying about dedication to your clients though. However, eventually I would like to NOT have to pay for a trainer.

Anyhow, back to the reason I am making this post. Don't make suggestions you dont want a response to. I am going to Cali in may because my friend is getting engaged. I will be in Westlake and Dana poo t so I will alreayd be doing tons of driving. I would certainly like to see how/what someone else has to say about the condition of my training.

Oh, I will let you know. I am going on some interviews while there, in an attempt to gain employment.

So, today we're training and people kept coming up to him. So, I slyly state, "So, I can deduct this from my training session, right?"

He says, "Dude thats got to stop."

We proceeded to have a disagreement about the situation and I was distracted the rest of the workout. He says hes always there for his clients and that if they have a question they should be able to come to him anytime. I tell him its distracting and he proceeds to say that this is how he trains and that he doesn't know how I can argue with the results.

He also throws out there that he thinks I don't appreciate him enough as a trainer(?). What he said is justified because I don't acknowledge the progress I've made, which is a personal fault. But, I have told him multiple times that I have worked with trainers before and that I have never seen anything like the progress I have made.

To me this is definitely not an easy situation because I don't have the faith in myself to do it alone and I really wanna keep training with this guy. He's done a lot to help me an move me forward. Sometimes the attitude is just too much though.

We don't all have your grasp over the situation.

Chris, would you expect not to receive 100% customer service in anything else? You need him to train, he needs you to make money. For someone who is usually willing to voice his opinion with confidence, you sure seem very intimidated by your trainer. Is he talking to other people during your exercise or during your rest?

It is because I really at the heart of it, I don't want to lose him. I have had so much sucess and I am really worried that it will plain or that I won't keep improving without him. That sounds really gay, I k ow.

Chris, change and your willingness to change is what has given you results. He may be telling you the right things, but you're the one that is motivated to do the work and make the change.

The customer is always right (even when the customer isn't really). His clients should be calling him on his personal time or scheduling more sessions if they need him that much. That is rude what he said to you.

It sounds like he isn't going to change and this will continue to frustrate you. You've changed by changing your lifestyle. Now, you just have to push yourself again to change w/a new trainer.

Sounds perfect. In this terrible economy he should be busting his ass to please you.

Chris, there isn't any big secret to training. Not intending to knock trainers here, but you are just paying someone to think for you. Use their experience to get you through your plateaus. You are doing the work. So if it's the progress you are worried about, you can find another trainer that will keep that going. The uniqueness in trainers comes in either a form of a special type of training or their personality. This isn't the best of analogies, but I think you will get the point... It's like picking a family doctor. They are all pretty much going to be able to diagnose you and tell you what you need to do to get better. The uniqueness comes in the forms of needing see a specialist or you just get a good feeling at a certain family doctor.
